We have rural and remote roles in country towns and bush clinics, or if you're still in the early stage of your career, we can get you started in a general ward of a regional hospital to help broaden your skills.

Depending on where you are based, you'll deliver a broad range of clinical services, from primary healthcare and aged care to responding to emergencies.

WHERE YOU CAN WORK IN WA

We can place you across WA, from larger coastal regional towns and cities like Broome, Bunbury, Geraldton, and Albany to more remote communities like Warburton, Balgo, and Fitzroy Crossing, with much smaller communities and limited services but rich in Indigenous heritage. Wherever you go, you'll get valuable experience, make a real difference and have an adventure!

This part of WA throws you straight into the deep end – it's definitely big sky country, with roles that suit experienced nurses who can think on their feet. On your time off, it could be coastal living or outback adventures in one – think fresh lobster by the water around Dongara and Port Denison, island trips from Geraldton, or road trips through gold rush towns and rugged inland tracks. Head into the Wheatbelt and you’ll find wide-open farmland, country towns, and wildflower seasons that are just made for Instagram! It’s demanding, hands-on work that pushes your skills further – while giving you the kind of experience you'll carry with you forever.

The Goldfields–Esperance region is big, bold, and not your average placement – best suited to experienced nurses ready to think on their feet and step into truly remote settings. Life outside of work is just as varied. One week you might be in historic gold rush towns like Kalgoorlie, the next heading south to Esperance for white sand beaches and that bluer-than-blue water. There’s also wildflower country, wide horizons, and the raw scale of the Nullarbor to explore. It’s the kind of setting that sharpens your skills quickly – giving you unbeatable experience in remote healthcare, with a lifestyle that’s equal parts outback and coastal escape.

WA’s Great Southern region has a way of pulling you in – rugged coastline, towering forests, and country towns that feel grounded and real. It’s well suited to experienced nurses who are confident stepping into varied, sometimes remote clinical environments. Time off here can look very different depending where you land – coastal walks around Albany, forest trails and amazing beaches near Denmark, or wine tasting through Mount Barker and Frankland River. There’s also the chance to explore places like the Stirling Ranges or the Valley of the Giants when you want something more active. Working across this region builds versatility and independence – giving you exposure to diverse communities while living somewhere that blends nature, food, and space in a way that’s totally unique.

The Kimberley is next level – remote, raw, and unlike anywhere else in Australia. This placement is for experienced nurses who are ready to step into challenging roles, think independently, and adapt quickly in truly remote healthcare settings. When you’re not working, it’s all about the scale of the place – sunset beaches in Broome, outback road trips along the Gibb River Road, or exploring places like the Bungle Bungles and El Questro. You’ll also be working alongside diverse, remote communities with deep cultural roots, adding another layer to the experience. It’s not the easy option – but it’s one that builds serious clinical confidence and gives you stories (and skills) you’ll carry for the rest of your career.

The Margaret River–Busselton region is the kind of place where work and lifestyle blend seamlessly – think coastal mornings, forest drives, and some of WA’s best food and wine all in one place! Your downtime might be spent swimming off Busselton Jetty, catching waves around Yallingup, or heading inland to explore wineries, caves, and towering karri forests. There’s a strong creative feel here too, with cafés, local makers, and relaxed coastal towns throughout. And did we mention whale-watching in season?! It’s a setting that lets you unwind properly between shifts, while getting experience in a region known for its balance of lifestyle and opportunity.

Perth and its surrounds have the best of both worlds – city buzz, beach life, and nature all within reach, without feeling too full-on. It’s a great option if you want flexibility in your role while enjoying a chilled lifestyle outside of work. Your days off could mean ocean swims at Cottesloe, wandering Fremantle’s markets, or heading out to Rottnest to spot those ever-so-cute quokkas. Add in the wineries and foodie scene of the Swan Valley and Perth Hills, and there’s always something different to do. It’s a placement that lets you grow your experience while keeping life social, active, and easy to enjoy.

The Pilbara is rugged and remote, and definitely asks more of you. That means its a strong fit for experienced nurses who are comfortable taking the lead and working with a high level of independence. Outside of shifts, you’ll find yourself drawn to places like Karijini’s hidden gorges, quiet coastal stretches near Karratha, or island escapes off Onslow. It’s also a chance to experience remote communities shaped by the resource industry and immerse yourself in Indigenous culture. It’s a role that builds real depth to your CV, while strengthening your clinical judgement.

WA’s South West has a natural flow to it – coastal towns, forest drives, and food spots that make it easy to slow down and enjoy where you are. When your aren't on the ward you could be spotting dolphins in Bunbury, walking the Busselton Jetty, or heading inland to explore karri forests around Pemberton and Northcliffe. Follow the coast and you’ll find places like Albany and Denmark, with Insta-worthy beaches, local wineries, and plenty of trails to tackle. It’s the kind of place where you can settle into a rhythm that feels good – getting invaluable experience while making the most of everything the region has to offer.
